We used to say this little prayer at bedtime when I was a kid.  I have since heard it sung to at least two different tunes: sometimes to the tune of Twinkle Twindle Little Star, other times as a softer lullaby.

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep

I pray the Lord my soul to take
Keep me safe throughout the night
And wake me with the morning light

In the lullaby version, the fourth line is usually changed slightly to:

I pray my soul you’ll take…
